Born in Carbondale, Illinois, Jason grew up in Southern Illinois until the age of 10, when the Jon Covington family moved to Cupertino, California to pursue work with Apple Computer in international marketing. There Jason graduated with English honors from Monta Vista High School.
Jason completed a Bachelor's degree in Communications from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California. After less than three years there, he returned to his roots in Carbondale to finish a Master's degree and to begin his writing and teaching career.
Eventually moving to the St. Louis, Missouri area for consulting and teaching opportunities, Jason married Lori Patton. Children include Emily (12), Lily (2), and Nathan (newborn).
Jason's consulting in marketing and communications led him to MYNAH Technologies, a software development company, where he manages communications, documentation, the MYNAH.com website, marketing, media relations, and new business development.
Jason's primary interests include the outdoors and fishing. | | |
